ADDITIONAL CONGRESS ACTIVITIES

SUNRISE RUN

Location: Along the Seawall, meet outside the East Building Lobby Entrance
Day/Time: 6:00 AM Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings

Join fellow Congress participants and enjoy the Vancouver sunshine with an early morning run around the seawall. Led by Lululemon, take in the amazing seaside views while getting your 10,000 steps in, all before the Congress day starts!

MORNING MINDFULNESS

Before each morning plenary session commences there will be a guided 20 minute mindfulness activity in the Plenary Ballroom ABC. These sessions are open to all attendees, designed with no equipment or prior-experience necessary. We encourage you to arrive 5 minutes early to settle in before it commences. 

  • Friday 21 July, 7:30am - 7:50am: Character Strengths/Strengths Spotting
  • Saturday 22 July, 7:30am - 7:50am: Meditation/Hopeful Gratitude
  • Sunday 23 July, 7:30am - 7:50am: Gentle Mindful Yoga

RECHARGE & FLOW

Location: Atrium Foyer, East Building Meeting Level, VCC

Looking for a place to spend a few minutes slowing down, decompressing or working through a yoga flow? Head up to the second floor atrium foyer space where you will find some yoga mats and casual furniture to help get you into a flow state and ready to continue connecting and engaging with fellow colleagues. This space is open throughout the Congress, available to utilize at your leisure. 

Lululemon led yoga sessions will take place on the following days/times, please note spaces are limited and available on a first serve basis:

  • Friday 21 July: 4:15pm – 4:45pm
  • Saturday 22 July: 4:45pm – 5:15pm

Qi Gong sessions, led by Lisa Barker from Heliotropia Qi, will take place on the following days and times in East meeting Room 16: 

  • Friday 21 July: 4:40pm – 5:00pm
  • Saturday 22 July: 5:10pm – 5:30pm

REFLECTION PROMPTS

Scattered around Congress spaces, you will find questions and prompts to guide your own reflection and to help you connect with those around you. We encourage you to use these prompts to learn, share, and get to know your fellow attendees.
