An Integrative Data Analysis of Positive Psychology Interventions (#189)
Positive psychology interventions (PPIs) have been shown to increase well-being and resilience in nonclinical populations, as well as in patients with mild to moderate depressive symptoms. The present study seeks to carry out the first large-scale integrative data analysis of PPIs. Unlike previous single-study PPIs and meta-analyses of PPIs, this project will combine studies providing full participant-level data and summary statistics to maximize generalizability and precision, account for key sources of heterogeneity, and develop commensurate measures to examine PPI efficacy over time. Challenges and insights for the improvement of PPIs will be discussed.
