How Do I Measure My Work? (#78)

Jaclyn Gaffaney 1 , Vicki Cabrera 1
  1. Claremont Graduate University, Seattle, WA, United States

Are you applying wellbeing or positive psychology and want to start thinking about how to evaluate if what you are doing is working? This ‘how-to-training’ will help you get into the mind of an evaluator to start thinking about how to approach measuring your work in a way that is catered to your own needs and context. It will lay a foundation for how to develop an evaluation strategy and determine your theory of change. It will include content on how to build up your cultural competence and cultural responsiveness. These tools are useful at any stage – when initially designing your intervention, program, or initiative, when optimizing your intervention, or when making decisions about your intervention. The training will be participatory, so come prepared to engage. It will be led by two evaluators with specializations in applied positive psychology and wellbeing.
