This presentation provides an overview of the research on discrimination and health, with a focus on the contributions of MIDUS. The discrimination instruments used in MIDUS are described, followed by a summary of key findings from MIDUS studies investigating the relationship between discrimination and various health outcomes. As MIDUS continues to offer a wealth of information, the presentation outlines priority areas for future research that can be pursued using MIDUS data.
