Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice (MBSP) has emerged as one of the strongest intervention programs in the field of positive psychology. As an 8-week manualized program, it has been shown in randomized studies across the globe to be beneficial for well-being, loneliness, depression, anxiety, self-efficacy, meaning, job performance, and has a unique impact on positive relationships. MBSP integrates the latest science and best practices in character strengths and in mindfulness to maximize the synergy of these areas. Participants focus on using their best qualities and awareness practices to identify, explore, embrace, and take action with “who they are” and “what they can be” to impact their personal well-being and their capacity to handle adversity and suffering. MBSP has practitioners applying this work in an estimated 50+ countries.

This symposium will feature presenters from five countries. Some presenters will discuss scientific findings of MBSP and some will discuss the implementation of MBSP in major initiatives.
