Exceptional practice is the benchmark for positive psychology practitioners. The goal of this pre-congress workshop is to increase skills and knowledge of practitioners in the field of positive psychology. Participants will be exposed to experienced practitioners who have been there, and done that, and have the reputation that follows and befits them. This day is intended for practitioners who would like to further their skill development via exposure to world class professionals, and their stories and experiences. Presentations will cover the topics of 1) starting and growing a practice, 2) the how to of applied ethical practice, 3) assessment and evaluation of wellbeing initiatives and programs, 4) relationships and wellbeing, 5) becoming a positive psychology coach, and 6) practicing internationally in different organisational systems. The day ends with an invited practitioner panel with participants having the opportunity to “ask us anything” of the esteemed panel. Join us in a day aimed squarely at “better” – building skills and knowledge for better practice; exceptional practice.
