- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Lawyer and linguist as undergrad, I became a language teacher in higher education, where I worked from 2005 to 2020. I became interested in the humanistic approach to teaching operationalized through the 'learning to be' by the UNESCO (1972, 1996, 2008) and 'savoir être' by the Council of Europe in its Framework for language teaching, learning and evaluation (2001). Passionate about developing human potential, character strengths and virtues while maintaining students’ well-being and pro-social orientation, I obtained my PhD in educational psychology in 2019 and became a postdoctoral researcher in Education in 2020. My current research project is on resilience and well-being in academia amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
