'Ruba Nawaz is a prospective filmmaker with a background in political philosophy and journalism. She works with marginalized groups in society as a volunteer and a creative producer. She has produced short videos sharing the resilience of refugees in the Netherlands and presented her findings at IPPA in 2019 in Melbourne. Since then, she has traveled to Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and England to collect stories of our modern-day heroes and their journeys to healing, resilience, and ultimate purpose in life.
