Proof Positive: Autism Wellbeing Alliance, MA, United States
- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Using the science of positive psychology, Proof Positive provides evidence-informed tools and resources for the autism community that enhance wellbeing. As the Associate Director of Operations and Community Connections at Proof Positive, Avery Bell engages diverse teams of people to integrate positive psychology skills into the daily rhythms of life. Avery supports the organization’s social media, messaging, and collaborations to promote inclusion, equity, and sustainability. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Issues from Colorado College, where she worked at their Office of Sustainability and played Division III women’s lacrosse. Avery has also worked to promote research and awareness on mental health and suicide and has been a lifelong advocate in the autism space, as her older brother Tyler has autism.
Always looking for a new adventure, Avery loves to hike and ski, learn a new crafting skill (currently, it’s pottery!), and do all things music-related: go to concerts, play the guitar, sing, and appreciate its beauty!
