Katie Shillington (she/her) recently completed her PhD in the Health Promotion stream of the Health and Rehabilitations Sciences graduate program at Western University. She will be starting as a post-doctoral scholar at the University of California San Diego within the Sanford Institute for Empathy and Compassion. Katie’s program of research focuses on resilience-promoting behaviours toward positive mental health, including kindness, prosocial behaviours, and other coping strategies during challenging times.
