I am a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Otago, New Zealand, focusing on education and curriculum. I have a social and developmental psychology background, with a Masters in Youth Resilience, a PhD in Youth Civic Engagement and Wellbeing, and I was a Postdoctoral Fellow focusing on Theory of Mind in infants and toddlers. My research interests include resilience, generosity, belonging, civic engagement, well-being, happiness, and prosocial behaviour in young people. I also study prejudice, intergroup discrimination, control, and self-esteem. Besides all things science, I like running over mountains, surfing small waves, and being a mum.
