Christiaan Bekker is the acting deputy director of the School of Psychosocial Health and lecturer in the Psychology Department at the North-West University Vanderbijlpark Campus. I lecture predominantly in undergraduate classes, focusing on positive psychology and intervention work. My research interests include: subjective well-being, intervention research, secondary and higher education teaching and learning practices, stress, burnout and engagement as well as gender and sexuality studies.
