        Jamie McCreary, Ph.D. is a Professor Emerita of Psychology at California State University, Stanislaus where she taught for over 30 years and initiated a research career spanning more than 45 years.
Dr. McCreary has maintained a variety of research programs throughout her career, examining topics such as emotion contagion and interdependence, exchange and communal attitudes and family structure, processing of self-referent information, and the structure of interpersonal perceptions. She has made more than 40 presentations at regional, national, and international conferences, including the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, the Inter-American Congress of Psychology, the Western Psychological Association, the American Psychological Society, and the Eastern Psychological Association. Her most recent work has focused on core values and personal well-being.
