Shiri Lavy

Dr. Shiri Lavy is an organizational psychologist, and former head of the Management of Education Systems Program at the University of Haifa, Israel. Her research, positioned within the organizational, interpersonal and educational arenas, focuses on the interplay of relationships, character strengths, and work meaningfulness, and their contribution to flourishing of people and organizations. Dr. Lavy is currently a principal investigator in a few large projects, including a national 5-year project about deep learning of 21st century competencies in education organizations, funded by the Israeli Ministry of Education and the Israel Science Foundation.
Dr. Lavy has published her work in positive psychology, organizational, and educational journals, and has given keynotes in scientific conferences. She served as Co-Editor of the Journal of Happiness Studies and as a member of the International Positive Psychology Association Education Division steering committee, chairing the first Positive Education Preconference of the division in Budapest.
