Marie-Claude Rivard, Ph.D., is a full professor at the Department of Human Kinetics, University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres. Her research focuses on health education from the perspective of healthy lifestyles and environments of influence. Her research also focuses on teacher training in physical and health education. Professor Rivard is a regular researcher in the Groupe interdisciplinaire de recherche appliquée en santé (GIRAS) at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres, the Réseau Intersectoriel de Recherche en Santé de l’Université du Québec (RISUQ) and the Centre de Recherche et d’Interventions Sur la Réussite Scolaire au Québec (CRIRES).
