Rabiya is an UBC Alumna with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Education. She is a psychology instructor at LaSalle College, Vancouver and is a graduate of MAPP'22 (Master of Applied Positive Psychology) from the University of Pennsylvania. Her graduating capstone was an empirical study investigating VIA character strengths in parents of healthy children and in parents with children with a life-altering diagnosis. Rabiya is a research assistant at the Happiness & Helping Lab at Simon Fraser University, and is starting her EdD with a concentration in community Leadership at the University of Miami in Fall'23.
